Rudy's Fun Corner What're doing besides digging my web page?
Frenchy should call this page "Rudy's Old Corner", because the damn thing is never updated... I've gone through more Corvettes than this page has gone through updates, but I digress... It's been an interesting season here in 2007-- I wish I could tell you how much Ibuprofen I've had to take after throwing on the weekends, but I can't remember. No, it's not a senior moment either... Although I can't seem to remember where I left my Billy Squier CD... Anyway, I just wanted to share a few recent photos and memories of myself for my adoring fans and public... As the old saying goes, "Pimping Ain't Easy", but I do my best...

Here I am with River Rat "General Manager" and DH Rob Barabe... Note the happy go lucky expression on Barabe's mug as we pose for a pic by Rear Admiral Jason Bast... He had just caught a whiff of the stink bomb I dropped on him... Sometimes a little bit of beer and stale popcorn can make all the fun in the world... Later that day, I'd drop more bombs on the Menomonie Eagles en route to our repeat championship in Ellsworth... I'd of course beat Elmwood myself with a walk off homer the day before. Don't I just look sexy? |

This is an old photo we dug out of the archives for inclusion here from June 2004. That was about as bad a team as I've played on in a while-- but I was still as crisp as Jack Lord's hair in Hawaii-Five O... We used the same hair spray too. |

Check out the knuckleheads behind me as I flex the forearm of my weapon of mass destruction... Mike Ratz had just joined us after spending an hour or so examining the tasteful maneuverings of the local artistic dancers just north of our location. Frenchy and Barabe are wondering how they can still be around such greatness after so many years. |

Whaddya mean I scratched? Apparently you have to avoid hitting the opponent's ball before you sink your own ball in pool. We never played that way down at Bill's Bar in Spring Valley... Anyway, I have to admit looking good for it being 1:00 AM on a Friday night. The camo shorts and Corvette t-shirt took me about 15 minutes to pick out of my wardrobe earlier that evening at my palatial estate in Hudson... |

As sad as our last game was this year, I still had a good time chatting with the fans and mentoring my young apprentice, Travis Borowicz... In this photo, Aaron Peterson from Plum City offers me advice on drinking at least half a case of beer on any road trip before you actually arrive at your destination. Note Jeff Schultz in the background as well reaching for another smoke... |

I'll close this month's Fun Corner posting with this shot of myself and Barabe, getting ready for a milk bath out in the spa. This was after we'd downed a few beverages at the local tavern and we were feeling alright. I slept well that night, but had a hard time walking the next day due to sore buttocks... Not sure why, however... |
Thanks to everyone for checking out my page-- I know you're digging it... We'll look for you next year as I prepare for another season as the oldest pitcher in the league (as well as the best looking one as well.)
Yours truly,
