Biography & Career Highlights

One of the charter members of the St. Croix Valley Baseball League, Brian has competed in the league for well over twenty years, ranging back to his high school days at Spring Valley, Wisconsin.  As a longtime outfielder and pitcher for the S.V. Hawks from 1981-99, he additionally earned a WBA state championship as a draftee of the Menomonie Eagles in 1989.  Married... wife Lisa...  children, Taylor and Josh.  Brian's involvement in both the St. Croix Valley league and Hudson Area youth baseball takes up the majority of time when he is away from the offices of his industrial design and manufacturing firm, Base Design, Inc. in Hudson.  Recent career highlights for Brian include a 1 hit, complete game shutout (with 9 strikeouts and 3 walks) of the Plum City Blues at Hudson on May 19, 2002, and his 9-1 complete game playoff win over the Stanberry Giants on August 10, 2002 where he struck out 12, surrendered 8 hits, and walked no Giant batters.
